Job Description

Job Title: Senior Developer-SQL Server Analysis Services

Location: Atlanta, GA

Length: Full Time/Perm

Required Skills:                

3+ years of experience in MSBI-Analysis Services 

Technically strong in SSAS development ( hands on cube build, handled performance issues, MDX) 

Automation of SSAS cubes through SSIS packages 

Worked extensively on MDX queries 

Knowledge on Datawarehousing concepts, Tools & Techniques ,SDLC. 

5+ years of experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) 

3+ years of experience in SQL 

Handling one or more assignments simultaneously with effective offshore management 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 

Highly Desirable Skills 

Experience in SSAS 2012. 

Experience in Retail industry - Online Business 

Support Knowledge & Process are added advantage. 

Managed cubes of size over 500GB 

Generic Managerial Skills

Proven leadership ability 

Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills 

Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Information

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: 


This position is in the Database Engineering Projects team. Candidate would be expected to execute multiple application and infrastructure projects ensuring that all DBA and Project checkpoints have been addressed.


For the duration of the project assignment, the candidate will function as the primary database contact, Application Partners and Technical Services partners. There is a 4-6 week ramp up time, during which someone will shadow this person (ideal person will need to pick up things quickly). At times this person may be working on 5-7 projects at once. The candidate would provide MS SQL Server database expertise as either the lead on database-only projects or serve as a virtual team member (VTM) for larger projects with representatives from multiple Technical Services teams. All database staff rotates through the firecall list and will be expected to provide afterhours support for the production environments.



Salary: 100K (nego) plus Benefits plus 6.5% annual Bonus
