The Harvest Help position is responsible for providing temporary assistance to the plant in preparation for and during the harvest season. Candidates must actively participate in Bunge?s Employee Safety Policy and maintain a safe work environment for self and all employees.Position Details:***This is a temporary position to assist during the harvest season. The schedule starts on a 7a-3p schedule, but must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and 2nd/3rd shifts. This position covers other employee?s vacations on all shifts.***Pay: $25.74What You?ll Be Doing:Clean silos and bowls in preparation for harvestProvide relief for regular employeesOperate bean dump scalesOperate conveyors to direct beans to proper siloProcess paperwork per department proceduresPerform cleaning within the department as directedMust have a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site?s food safety management system, and comply with customer and regulatory requirementsResponsible to adhere to the Food Safety Culture to provide safe product to consumersReport any concerns with safe food practicesWork safely and assist coworkers as neededPerform other duties as assignedFollows all safety policies and proceduresFollows Good Manufacturing PracticesMinimum Qualifications:Ability to work safely and follow policies and proceduresMust be able to lift up to 50lbs.Must be able to work at heights and in confined spacesGood communication skillsAbility to work in a team environmentWilling to work overtime and flexible hoursMust be able to work weekends and holidaysMust be able to work 2nd / 3rd shiftGood attendancePreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDAt Bunge (NYSE: BG), our purpose is to connect farmers to consumers to deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.
