Jobs: Various general labor opportunities available
Location: Cleveland (East Side)
Pay: $18-$21 (based on experience); weekly
Schedule: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 12-hour rotational shifts available.
Type: Temp to hire
Our Client is hiring for several departments within their Cleveland East side facility. We are looking for dedicated, hardworking laborers for a variety of positions within their foundry. Prior foundry experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
  • Drain, transfer, or remove molten metal from furnaces, and place it into molds, using hoists, pumps, or ladles.
  • Prepare material to load into furnaces, including cleaning, crushing, sorting, bricking by using machines and tools.
  • Operating vehicles, mechanized devices, or equipment.
  • Communicating with supervisors, peers, or subordinates
  • Performing general physical activities and at times working in confined spaces.
  • Using equipment such as hand tools, industrial metal furnaces, tow motors, blasters and overhead cranes.
  • Comfortable wearing FULL RESPIRATORY SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
  • Standing and bending for long periods of time.
  • Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.
  • Working with a team as well as independently.
  • Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials during your shift.
  • Follow all company safety practices and rules.
  • Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s Employee Handbook and adhere to proper code of conduct while on company property.
  • Hot work and lockout/tagout operation.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and pre-employment physical
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs without difficulty
  • Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision
