Job description

Summary

The ideal candidate must have previous food service experience within a similar role and have a hands on approach, be an excellent communicator, ensure customers are served promptly & courteously, and comply with hygiene and safety regulations.

Essential Functions

  • Provide superior customer service to our guests. Assist in patron food and beverage selection, presenting menu and answering patron questions regarding menu, cuisine and beverages.
  • Transmit orders to bar and kitchen identifying patron special requests and any dietary restrictions.
  • Serve orders, maintain table settings by removing courses, replenishing beverages, utensils, and ensuring guests requests or issues are handled promptly and courteously.
  • Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Process guest bills efficiently and correctly.

Qualifications

  • 1-year previous server experience in restaurant/hospitality/entertainment venue.
  • Superb customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem solver and team player.
  • Flexible with varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Must have knowledge of food & beverage preparation and service.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull food trays, carts, chairs and tables up to 40 lbs. with our without reasonable accommodation.
