About Our Practice

Ruby Canyon Dental is a full-service, technology-driven dental practice. We rarely refer out and perform a wide range of procedures in-house, including:

Responsibilities

As an Experienced Dental Assistant, you will:

  • Assist with restorative, surgical, and implant procedures
  • Place composite restorations (Expanded Duties - Colorado)
  • Fabricate and adjust temporary crowns
  • Take digital and traditional impressions independently
  • Support CEREC same-day crown workflows
  • Assist in surgical and implant cases
  • Prepare operatories according to established SOPs
  • Capture digital radiographs and dental photography
  • Enter accurate and thorough chart notes in Dentrix Ascend
  • Provide informed consent communication and post-operative instructions
  • Conduct follow-up care calls and patient communication
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and documentation standards

While all clinical team members contribute to maintaining a clean and organized environment, we have full-time sterilization technicians, allowing assistants to remain primarily focused on patient care and clinical execution.

Technology & Digital Dentistry

We are a highly digital office utilizing:

  • CEREC CAD/CAM technology
  • 3D printing (including surgical guides)
  • Digital radiography
  • Dentrix Ascend practice management software
  • Comprehensive digital workflows

Experience with digital dentistry is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
  • Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (Colorado) preferred
  • Experience placing restorations strongly preferred
  • Surgical or implant assisting experience a plus
  • Sedation experience a plus (training available)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
  • Ability to anticipate provider needs and maintain efficient clinical flow

Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates receive a $2/hour pay differential.
