Job description

Hiring Maintenance/Automation Technicians – 1st Shift (Monday–Friday)

Step into a hands‑on Technician role where you’ll design, build, and support automated solutions that improve process control, reduce labor, and enhance product quality. Your work directly impacts OEE, labor efficiency, and key quality metrics—making you a critical contributor to operational performance and customer satisfaction. This role blends automation engineering, troubleshooting, and maintenance in a structured, safety‑driven environment that values continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Work Environment:

  • 1st shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Industrial/manufacturing setting with exposure to automation systems, robotics, PLCs, HMIs, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Hands‑on work on the production floor combined with documentation and system updates in IQMS
  • ISO‑driven, safety‑focused environment requiring adherence to all company safety guidelines and appropriate PPE

Job Description:

  • Design and build automated solutions that improve process control, reduce labor, and support quality compliance
  • Standardize automation and vision systems using approved vendors and consistent engineering practices
  • Create and maintain IQMS‑controlled documentation, including safety procedures and operating instructions
  • Collaborate with scheduling to plan and execute projects efficiently while minimizing downtime
  • Source parts and services, and coordinate vendor/contractor activities to support automation and maintenance needs
  • Manage and close work orders in IQMS, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and infrastructure equipment across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems
  • Support and maintain automation technologies including PLCs, robotics, HMIs, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime and extend equipment life
  • Follow all ISO procedures and company safety standards in every task

Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in automation, industrial maintenance, or heavy industrial assembly
  • Hands‑on experience designing, assembling, or implementing automation systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment
  • Experience with PLC programming and controls engineering fundamentals
  • Familiarity with robotics and robot programming in a production environment
  • Ability to work with HMIs and related control hardware
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics used in industrial equipment
  • Experience performing repairs and preventive maintenance on production systems
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation, safety procedures, and operating instructions
  • Commitment to ISO standards and safe work practices

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
