Job Title

NeuroPsychiatric Hospitals is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary assignment through corporate payroll.

Job Description

This is a temporary assignment with a potential to convert to full time at the end of the 13 weeks based on performance. The opportunity offers $65 per hour with a $15,000 conversion bonus to full time employment at the end of the 13 weeks. This will be paid out half at 6 months, half at 12 months. Benefits and health insurance are not included during the 13 weeks but will be available with conversion to full time. We are currently accepting applications for our temp-to-hire program for day and night shifts.

The schedule is full time only, which will be three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00-7:00 and an every other weekend rotation of Sat and Sun. No changes to the schedule will be accepted. Must be able to work the full 13 weeks consecutively. Applicants need to be available to start within 2-3 weeks and be able to attend an orientation Monday-Friday. We cannot make adjustments to the orientation schedule.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse functions under the general supervision and direction of the Director of Nursing and the Chief Executive Officer to:

  • Plans, directs, evaluates, and documents all aspects of patient care, in accordance with regulatory requirements, established policy, and hospital values and philosophy.
  • Assesses the needs of patients and initiates, implements and evaluates individualized plans of care.
  • Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care. Maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units.
  • Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and skills of personnel.

We are looking for exceptional nurses who demonstrate incredible compassion for our patient population. Must be passionate about quality patient care and serving an underserved population in an acute psychiatric care model.

Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana.

Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric care, mental or behavioral health, or addiction recovery.
