Network Team Lead (Contract-to-Hire)

We are seeking an experienced Network Team Lead to oversee and evolve a complex enterprise network environment. This high-impact role combines hands-on technical leadership with infrastructure strategy, ensuring the availability, security, and performance of critical business systems.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across network operations, infrastructure management, and team leadership while maintaining a proactive focus on risk management, security, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and oversee enterprise network operations, desktop services, data management, and infrastructure architecture.
- Manage and support network hardware, servers, operating systems, telecommunications, internet connectivity, email systems, and file storage solutions.
- Implement and maintain network technology solutions while ensuring system availability, integrity, and security.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, identify trends, and drive continuous operational improvements.
- Oversee the tracking and resolution of service requests and technical issues.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
- Partner with security teams to assist with infrastructure monitoring and investigation of potential security events.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, and business outcomes.
- Ensure mission-critical systems remain highly available and resilient.
What We're Looking ForRequired Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting and administering enterprise LAN/WAN environments.
- Experience with:
- Network infrastructure and telecommunications
- Windows server environments
- Citrix
- VMware
- Enterprise workstation and server administration
- Infrastructure operations and support
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of network architecture, hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Ability to design, implement, support, and troubleshoot local and wide area networks.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced and evolving technical environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
