Job Title: API/Microservices Software Engineer
Type: 12-Month Contract (Temp Only)
Location Options:

  • Hybrid: Miramar, FL or Dallas, TX (onsite 3x/week)
  • Remote: Atlanta, GA | Minneapolis, MN | Seattle, WA
About the Role:

We’re seeking a highly skilled API / Microservices Software Engineer to help architect and build high-performance, cloud-native applications that power digital transformation. You'll join a fast-moving team delivering enterprise-grade solutions in a modern AWS environment using .NET Core/C#. If you're passionate about clean API design, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems, this is your playground.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET and C#
  • Deploy scalable, high-availability applications on AWS (Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, etc.)
  • Build clean, versioned service contracts and loosely coupled components
  • Lead code reviews and participate in system architecture discussions
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
  • Ensure system security, performance, observability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business-driven solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems

Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Strong development experience with .NET Core / .NET Framework and C#
  • Hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, EC2, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB)
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns
  • Proven API development experience with REST standards
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred "Closer" Qualifications:
  • Experience with Node.js and TypeScript (or Python, Go, Rust)
  • Familiarity with ElasticSearch / ELK stack
  • Docker and Kubernetes experience
  • Experience with serverless architectures on AWS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience
