Welder - Fabricator
Are you a hands-on welder who takes pride in precision and craftsmanship? We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer in Boaz, AL that’s growing fast and adding skilled MIG Welders to their team.
This is a full-time opportunity for dependable individuals who know their way around a fabrication shop and want to be part of building something big — literally. Expect long shifts, solid pay, great benefits (once perm), and steady work with a company that values quality.
(Full-Time, Overtime Available)
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Building and welding heavy-duty steel tanks, containers, and components
  • Using MIG welding to create strong, leak-free welds that meet quality standards
  • Operating grinders, torches, and plasma cutters as needed to prep and finish materials
  • Reading blueprints, layouts, or shop drawings to complete jobs accurately
  • Working with jigs, fixtures, and other shop tools to ensure clean, consistent results
What You’ll Need
  • 1–2 years of MIG welding experience (shop or industrial setting preferred)
  • Ability to work from written instructions, blueprints, or verbal direction
  • Comfortable lifting, standing, bending, and moving for 10–12 hour shifts
  • Good eye for detail and a steady hand — your work will be inspected!
  • Safety-first mindset and familiarity with PPE like steel-toe boots and welding gear
