Job description

Temporary Substitute Secretary

Pottstown School District is seeking a temporary substitute secretary to support the daily operations of North End Learning Center.

Supports the efficient daily operation of the North End Learning Center by managing office communications, student registration and records, correspondence, filing, meal tracking, supplies, and other administrative processes. The position also serves as a welcoming point of contact for families, staff, visitors, and administrators while assisting the PreK Counts Coordinator with building operations and program needs.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced technology skills, professionalism, discretion, and strong organizational and communication skills. Administrative office experience is preferred, along with the ability to multitask.

A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three (3) years of administrative office experience are required. Additional education may be considered in place of experience. Acts 34, 114, and 151 clearances are required.

This temporary position will be reviewed for the possibility of becoming a regular, full-time position based on District needs.

District maintains the right to interview for and fill position prior to closing date of posting.
