General Summary:
Are you a dedicated customer service professional seeking a rewarding career? Benton REA invites applications for a Temporary Member Experience Representative. Join our team and take on responsibilities such as balancing daily cash receipts, billing processing and procedures, and delivering courteous service to our members and the public in a collaborative team environment.

Key Emphases:

  • Member Experience: Prioritize exceptional service to our members, ensuring a positive customer journey.
  • Multi-Tasking: Manage various responsibilities simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
  • Problem Solving: Exhibit effective problem-solving abilities in addressing member inquiries and challenges.
  • Spanish Speaking: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus to enhance member communication.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in general office tasks, computer peripherals.
  • Valid driver's license.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Strong team player.
  • Outgoing, adaptable, and flexible personality.
  • Prior banking or utility customer service experience.
  • Forward thinking, with a drive towards process improvement, efficiency, excellence.
  • Strong technical aptitude.

Work Schedule:
  • 4-10 work schedule, with every Friday off

Benton REA has offices in West Richland and Prosser, WA. This position will primarily report to the headquarters in West Richland but may occasionally need to report to Prosser.
This is a temporary position expected to last up to four (4) months. Temporary positions are not eligible for Association benefits and do not have a length of service or hours guarantee.
Supplemental Information:
Selection process will include a request for writing samples, with a preference towards excellent communication skills, interview and skills testing through Willo, and in-person interview process.
Final candidate selected will be subject to a comprehensive background process, to include criminal background check, driving history review, and drug screen.
