Job Title

Oncology Float Pool RN Traveler

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating

Key Responsibilities
  • Float across multiple oncology units including general oncology, research oncology, medical oncology, bone marrow transplant (BMT), and palliative care settings
  • Deliver direct patient care to oncology populations with varying acuity levels across assigned float pool units
  • Adapt quickly to unit-specific workflows, protocols, and patient populations when floating between departments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes across all assigned units
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with unit and facility standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Massachusetts
  • Current oncology nursing experience, including familiarity with oncology patient care standards
  • Ability to work a rotating day/night shift schedule (3x12-hour shifts)
  • Demonstrated ability to float and adapt to multiple unit environments
  • Current BLS certification; additional certifications may be required per unit
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience in bone marrow transplant (BMT), research oncology, or palliative care settings
  • Prior travel nursing or float pool experience in an acute care oncology environment
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or equivalent specialty certification
