Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is seeking an Inbound Sales Professional, Inside Sales (Remote in EST & CST) at Pitney Bowes.

The non-negotiable compensation for this role is $21.88 per hour or equal to your current hourly, plus $25,000 OTI uncapped commission according to individual performance, paid out monthly. The Total Target Compensation, at 100% goal achievement, is calculated to be $70,000 annual.

Your schedule will be Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

This is a remote Inside Sales position open to qualified candidates living in the United States. You must reside in the EST and CST areas to be eligible for consideration for this job. Candidates located in the PST and MST areas are not eligible for consideration for this job.

As a competitive Inbound Sales Professional, Inside Sales for Pitney Bowes, you will assess and prioritize the account according to sales urgency and shipping opportunity. You will be responsible for uncovering solutions opportunities.

You are: 

  • Dependable and consistent in their pursuit to win clients from competition. 
  • Skilled in calling competitors clients, gathering company information, and assessing the account and uncovering the right Pitney Bowes solution to secure the win. 
  • Able to make a thorough evaluation, listening and understanding is of the most essential qualities we need to ensure we earn trust to sell a Pitney Bowes solution.
  • Skilled in handling rejection and motivated by the hunt for new business. 
  • You listen for indirect information about the business and their experience with competition that may lead to a Pitney Bowes win. 
  • Able to make decisions and function more independently than an employee would in an office setting.
  • Must be able to solve problems independently and learn through ambiguity. 

You will:  

  • Receive new client leads, contact client, confirm solid lead, create quote and contract send to client for approval and close the deal.
  • You will use Salesforce to open new client account, create a quote and create contract.
  • You will receive inbound and make outbound client calls.
  • Manage variable lead generation with speed. 
  • Manage clients lead queue and build client pipeline. 
  • Work competitive client leads.
  • Sell shipping and solutions. 

Your background: As a competitive Inbound Sales Professional, Inside Sales, you must have: 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales 
  • Experience using Salesforce account management platform.
  • Continuous track record of 90%+ quota attainment in previous roles within Pitney Bowes 
  • Experience with competitive selling, selling our products or services, sales in a telephone sales environment. 
  • Strong experience in information technology, software or financial products, and renewal sales 
  • Experience in practical application of operational performance metrics 
  • Experience working in a cross-function matrix organization. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience with change  
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Excel 
  • High School Diploma or GED
