Job Description RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Corrosion Technician in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time contract-to-hire Field Based assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Corrosion Technician As a Corrosion Technician, you will protect critical energy infrastructure by collecting corrosion measurements and evaluating system conditions. You will gain hands-on experience with specialized testing equipment while working alongside experienced professionals to build technical skills. This is a 100% field-based position allowing you to work on diverse projects throughout the region while being home every night.

As a Corrosion Technician YOU will: Collect corrosion measurements and data from pipeline systems Evaluate system conditions and document findings Operate specialized corrosion testing equipment Ensure long-term safety and reliability of pipeline infrastructure Travel throughout the region on various field assignments Support corrosion control practices and procedures Work independently in field environments YOU are the ideal Corrosion Technician candidate if you have: Appropriate technical degree or background (required) 0-2 years of work experience in corrosion, petrochemical, or related industries NACE CP1 certification (required) Ability to pass client OQ exams (required) Basic computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Physical ability to work outdoors and perform field activities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation It's a BONUS if you have: NACE CP2 certification Additional years of corrosion industry experience Advanced technical certifications Experience with multiple pipeline systems and inspection methods About Our CLIENT Our client is a leading utility services company specializing in pipeline and gas distribution projects.
