Job description

Clinical Research Coordinator – Clinical Trials in Chicago, IL

IMA Clinical Research | Sign-On Bonus | Temp to Permanent | $60,000–$65,000, depending on experience

At IMA Clinical Research, every study brings new therapies closer to the patients who need them. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you won't just manage logistics — you'll be the trusted point of contact for participants, the operational backbone of each trial, and a key partner to investigators, sponsors, CROs, and monitors.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want your work to translate directly into better patient outcomes, we'd love to talk.

What You'll Do

  • Own the participant experience — coordinating visits, assessments, and follow-up appointments with care and precision
  • Drive study operations across multiple active clinical trials simultaneously
  • Perform venipuncture and process laboratory specimens accurately and safely
  • Maintain airtight source documentation and regulatory files in line with GCP and sponsor requirements
  • Lead participant recruitment, enrollment, retention, and education efforts
  • Identify, document, and report adverse events, safeguarding study quality and participant safety at every step

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
  • Confident, reliable phlebotomy skills
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
  • Background in metabolic, endocrine, internal medicine, or related therapeutic areas preferred
  • A knack for juggling competing priorities without missing a beat
  • CCRC certification welcomed, though not required

Why You'll Love Working Here

We invest in our team as much as we invest in our research:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Sign-On Bonus
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous PTO and paid holidays
  • Tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment assistance
  • Paid parental leave
  • A predictable schedule — no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements

Ready to help advance medicine, one study and one participant at a time? Apply today.
