Quick Facts Location: St. Louis, MO (1465 South Grand Boulevard) Start Date: 10/19/2026 End Date/Duration: 04/19/2027 Shift: Day shift, 4x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Full-time Required Licenses/Certifications: MO and IL licensure (preferred), Board Certified in Genetics, BLS, BNDD, DEA Experience: 2-5 years minimum in genetics and metabolic conditions Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $156.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Conduct general genetics evaluations and manage biochemical/metabolic disorders Provide inpatient consults in PICU, NICU, and pediatric wards Collaborate with genetic counselors and multidisciplinary teams Support patients of varied age groups, primarily pediatric with occasional adult cases Utilize EPIC EMR for charting and documentation Participate in outpatient and inpatient services Contribute to diagnostic efforts and support management of complex genetic cases What You Need Required: Board Certification in Genetics MO and IL medical licenses (willing to license) BLS, BNDD, DEA certifications 2-5 years of relevant experience in genetics Strong diagnostic skills in genetics and metabolic conditions Preferred: Experience with inpatient consults and pediatric care Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team About the Assignment Support staff includes genetic counselors, a genetic nurse, and a counseling assistant at a state-of-the-art hospital affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine. The facility is ranked among the top children’s hospitals in the US, with specialized programs in cardiology, neonatology, oncology, gastroenterology, neurology, and neurosurgery.
