TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67214!

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Wichita, Kansas

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery / Birthing Center setting with patient ratios of 4–6:1
  • Perform and interpret fetal monitoring including non-stress tests (NSTs)
  • Care for high-risk obstetric patients including those with PPROM, preeclampsia, placenta previa, and preterm labor
  • Support post-operative gynecological and urogynecological surgery patients, as well as GYN oncology post-op cases
  • Utilize unit equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring devices
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Postpartum experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of overall nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior OB or Labor & Delivery experience beyond postpartum
  • Medical-surgical nursing experience
  • Gynecology (GYN) nursing experience
