Lab Technician/ Operator
Temp to Hire
Pay: $14.50 - 16.50
Day Shift: 7AM- 7PM
Night Shift 7PM- 7AM

The SPD Operator is responsible for processing the wafers and bars using different equipment to produce laser chips.

Job Responsibilities
  • Must be able to plan, layout, and perform operating equipment.
  • Willing to cross train and multi-skill in various production operations as directed.
  • Constant usage of microscope to handle miniature devices.
  • Application of tweezers and vacuum pen to stack and unstuck devices on fixtures.
  • Check – in/out work order related information to company management system.
  • Sitting posture at work station with 15 mins break every 2 hrs.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Cleanroom PPE and rules are required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Semiconductor manufacturing and clean room experience preferred.
  • Small devices handling experience preferred.
  • Good manual dexterity with the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time in a repetitive manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Ability to use microscope and computer (training will be provided).
  • Steady hands to use tweezers to handle small parts.
  • Willing to learn and cooperate, follow instructions.
  • The work is done inside a cleanroom environment and requires handling of very small parts.
  • Careful and detail oriented.
