Description
MUST BE A CURRENT GRAYS HARBOR COLLEGE STUDENT TO APPLY. Grays Harbor College is accepting applications for a Student Help Desk Tech - Information Technology. This is a part-time, non-permanent position and is not eligible for benefits. Hours will typically be Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm (up to 69 hours per month) but can be flexible. Position will be on campus with some work from home opportunities. This position reports to the Student Help Desk Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handling student technical support cases via Zoom, email and phone
  • Provide solutions and advice on technical issues
  • Recognize FERPA guidelines to keep PII confidential
  • Maintain daily logs
  • Perform tasks using problem solving and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to convey friendliness, warmth and acceptance to all individuals.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with individuals and groups.
  • Excellent written communication skills including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
