Job description

Web Developer
Clearance: US Citizenship required.
Location: Washington, DC Metro Area (VA/DC/MD) — Onsite/Hybrid per program requirements. Candidates must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the DC metro area prior to start.
Salary: $105,000–$170,000 — Commensurate with experience
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications and portals supporting mission users.
  • Develop front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) and back-end services/APIs.
  • Ensure applications meet accessibility (Section 508), usability, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product owners, and backend engineers.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Support integration with government data sources and authentication systems.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience with RESTful API integration and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with Section 508/WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Experience supporting missions for DoW, DHS, FBI, or another national security agency.
  • Willingness to work onsite in the DC metro area as required.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, .NET, or Java).
  • Experience with content management systems and government web platforms.
Education and Work Experience
3–15 years of relevant experience, with placement (Mid, Senior, or Lead) commensurate with demonstrated experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
