Position Duties
BASIC FUNCTION:Under the direction of the department supervisor, perform a wide variety of complex clerical and typing duties involving frequent and responsible contact with employees and the general public.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
  • Arrive consistently punctual and prepared to work.
  • Maintain regular attendance and comply with the attendance record policy.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and behavior.
  • Present an appropriate appearance.
  • Exhibit good interpersonal relations.
  • Complete tasks effectively.
  • Relate sensitively to all employees.
  • Answer telephones, greet the public, and provide information.
  • Operate computer terminal and incorporate software applications.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail; duplicate, file, and distribute materials as appropriate.
  • Prepare and type correspondence, forms, reports, and a variety of other materials, type from oral direction, or rough copy or notes.
  • Monitor office supplies and equipment; notify supervisor of low inventory status or maintenance issues.
