14720 – Senior IT Project Manager (onsite) – Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens FL (required);
  • IT project management experience with complex project management (7+ years)
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar project management platforms;
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a matrixed organization;
  • Experience in risk management and problem resolution;
  • Experience in budget oversight and financial accountability;
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
  • PMP certification or equivalent;
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Preferred
  • Experience in the energy, utilities, or regulated industry sector;
  • Experience with Exchange Online mail flow, SMTP relay modernization, OAuth 2.0, and DMARC/DKIM configurations;
  • Experience managing SharePoint migrations, governance frameworks, and information architecture;
  • Experience in project delivery involving Teams governance, licensing, and meeting infrastructure;
  • Experience managing offshore delivery teams;
  • Agile/Scrum or SAFe certification.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain a consolidated view of all assigned IT project workstreams, milestones, and dependencies
  • Proactively identify and resolve schedule risks across vendor and internal PM teams
  • Own the IT risk and issues register; elevate critical risks to ITN leadership in a timely, structured manner
  • Develop and deliver regular status reports to ITN and nuclear business leadership
  • Translate technical project updates into clear, leadership-ready reporting
  • Ensure all assigned projects adhere to NextEra IT delivery standards and governance frameworks
  • Conduct governance reviews to identify and close delivery gaps
