Job Title: Punch Press Operator

Schedule: 4am - 12:30pm

Job Description

This role operates punch press machinery in a manufacturing environment to produce metal parts that meet precise customer specifications and quality standards. The Punch Press Operator sets up and runs equipment, verifies part accuracy using precision measuring tools, and follows detailed blueprints and work instructions while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate punch press machines to fabricate metal components according to production requirements.
• Load raw materials into punch press machines and safely remove finished products upon completion.
• Perform routine inspections of parts to ensure they meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements and machine settings.
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and promptly report any issues, malfunctions, or irregularities to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safe and efficient production.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating punch press machinery and handling materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
