Job description

SNELLING is currently recruiting for a Content Creator – Vehicle Service, for a local automobile dealership in the Tyler area with a pay rate of $20.00/hr. The primary responsibility includes producing post-service walk-through videos for customers, clearly explaining the work performed on their vehicles and detailing recommended future maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle care. The ideal candidate is someone who is a confident, engaging storyteller who feels confident in front of the camera. No prior automotive service knowledge is required. Scripts of what needs to be communicated related to service is provided by the company.
This Service Content Creator will be temp-to-hire, meaning that while SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and Snelling would be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted. Key Responsibilities
  • Produce, edit, and deliver compelling video content that highlights our maintenance offerings, team expertise, and customer testimonials.
  • Collaborate with service technicians and advisors to film clear, informative post-service video updates for clients regarding their vehicle's status and future service needs.
  • Stay current with modern video trends, filming techniques, and editing software to continuously elevate content quality.
  • Coordinate with the service and marketing teams to schedule and film relevant footage during daily operations and special events.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Direct experience as a videographer or in a similar digital media role, supported by a strong portfolio of work. This experience can be paid or as a hobby.
  • Relevant experience using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, Edits or equivalent).
  • Strong creative storytelling abilities, sharp attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter while collaborating effectively with a dynamic team.
  • Willingness to work in a well-kept shop environment while producing video content
