Job description

Farmers Insurance District 22/25 is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our team as an Insurance Sales Associate with a direct pathway to Agency Ownership. This position is primarily based out of our District office in Schaumburg, Illinois.


If you thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and want to learn the ropes of running a business from the ground up, this role is designed for you.


We are looking for a future business leader who is ready to dive in, take ownership of their activity, and make an immediate impact within a growing District. From day one, you will operate with a high degree of independence, proactively building and managing a book of business that serves as a tangible asset for your future agency.


While you'll have the freedom to drive your own growth strategy, you won't be doing it alone. You will work directly out of our District Office in Schaumburg, receiving one-on-one mentorship, exclusive executive training, and a proven roadmap designed to transition you from a top-producing associate into a successful Farmers Agency Owner.


Compensation:


100% Commission - Temporary stipend may be provided upon conversation for first 90 days as you build your book of business (with completion of milestones)

Responsibilities
  • Build longterm relationships with clients by understanding their needs, educating them on coverage options, and recommending personalized insurance solutions
  • Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals, community involvement, outbound outreach, and consistent followup activity
  • Conduct needsbased assessments to help clients protect their homes, autos, businesses, and families with appropriate Farmers products
  • Manage a growing book of business by providing exceptional service, timely communication, and ongoing policy reviews
  • Maintain accurate client records, follow compliance standards, and uphold Farmers professional and ethical guidelines
  • Collaborate with your agency team to meet sales goals, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to a positive, growthfocused culture
  • Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and Farmers training resources to continually improve your skills and performance

Requirements
  • Active or ability to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses (fully-paid by Farmers Insurance)
  • Comfortable working in a high-reward, sales environment
  • Proficiency in Communication and excellent Customer Service skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is an advantage but not mandatory
