IFHS is anFQHCthat also provides24/7 urgent and emergent care, serving a remote island community with a wide range of medical needs.

This position requires an APP with a strong clinical background, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work bothautonomouslyandcollaborativelywith a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a rural setting and confident managing patients ofall ageswith both primary and acute care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Providecomprehensive primary careandacute careto patients across the lifespan
• Deliverurgent and emergency careas part of a 24/7 oncall rotation
• Work independently while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other providers
• Adapt to arural, resourcelimitedhealthcare environment
• Support the medical needs of island residents and the commercial fishing fleet

Requirements

• CurrentAlaska license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• CurrentDEA license
• CurrentBLS, ACLSandPALScertifications
• Current ATLScertification
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort with autonomous practice
