Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to set up, adjust, and operate various machine tools to produce precision components. This role requires experience with manual lathes, knee mills, boring bars, grinders, and special-purpose machines.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, boring mills, grinders, and other machining tools
- Work from blueprints, specifications, and job layouts to produce close-tolerance components
- Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions
- Perform quality checks using a variety of precision measuring instruments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including scheduled preventative maintenance
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience operating manual lathes, mills, and grinders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job layouts
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.)
- Strong problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting as required

The base salary range for this position is $32, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity.
