100% ONSITE
Location: Chaska MN
Type: Temporary/Contract
Compensation: $37.93hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Senior Financial Analyst to join our Operations team. In this key role, you will partner directly with Operations leaders to manage departmental expenses, oversee budgeting processes, and perform periodic forecasting.
You will also be responsible for building financial models to evaluate various business scenarios.
Your support will be crucial during month-end close activities, including variance analysis, preparing journal entries, and generating ad hoc financial reports.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Operations management on expense management, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.
  • Assist with month-end financial close, including variance analysis and journal entries.
  • Prepare and present ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Utilize financial systems to extract and analyze data for reporting.
  • Support projects and process improvements within the Operations Finance team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (preferably in FP&A).
  • Experience with financial systems and advanced Excel skills required.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry and familiarity with standard costing strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
