Job Description

Overview

The Inventory Control Temp is responsible to maintain the integrity of transactional entries for the movement of product to/from the Finished Goods Vault including overall inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • To verify and transact finished goods product as it is surrendered by various departments.

  • To ensure that all product handled is ticketed correctly and represented accurately in a finished goods vault location.

  • To ensure that all product labeled and transacted is put away in its location accurately

  • Systematically transfer inspected styles to appropriate locations.

  • Stamp all transacted inventory

  • Oversees the accurate handling of product necessary for presentations and review.

  • Participates in the daily pick-up of product from various departments

  • Report all inventory discrepancies, inaccuracies, and performance related issues to the Finished Goods Vault Supervisor.

  • Responsible for conducting cycle counts on product and ensuring the product is labeled and handled well.

  • Will be held accountable for the accuracy of transactions and the timing in which they occur.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all product is secured nightly and the vault is closed.

  • All other duties may be assigned and directed by the Management team.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational skills, multi-tasking and time management abilities.

  • Basic computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word.

  • Ability to adapt to a highly changing environment.

Education: High School or above but not required with sufficient experience.

Location: Lyndhurst NJ

Pay Rate: $18 hr
