This role is responsible for setting up and operating CNC plasma cutting machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has experience with fabrication processes, understands blueprints, and is committed to safety and precision. Essential Job Functions:Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting tables to cut metal parts accurately and efficientlyRead and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work ordersLoad raw materials (steel, aluminum, or stainless) onto cutting tablesSelect appropriate cutting parameters (amperage, speed, gas type)Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to specificationsInspect finished parts using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, squares)Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor equipment issuesMaintain clean and organized work area (5S standards preferred)Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPECollaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams as needed Qualifications:1–3+ years of experience operating CNC plasma or similar cutting equipment preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsBasic computer skills for loading and adjusting CNC programsFamiliarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SheetCam, AutoCAD, Fusion 360) is a plusStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsWhat we offer:Competitive compensation100% company paid health insurance for employee and dependents 100% company paid dental and vision for employee and dependents 401k with 3% company matchOvertime after 8 hoursPTOAnd much more!
