Norfolk, VA 23502 & Virginia Beach, VA 23462
$30.00 per hour
Monday -Friday | 8: 00 AM -5: 00/5: 30 PM
Dress Code: Solid Color Scrubs
Our client, a busy and well-established multi-location medical practice, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with OBGYN experience to join their team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.
This position requires flexibility to rotate between two offices located approximately 15 minutes apart in Norfolk and Virginia Beach.

Requirements
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
  • OBGYN experience REQUIRED
  • Current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Ability to rotate between Norfolk and Virginia Beach offices
  • Strong EMR documentation skills
  • Excellent patient service and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients, record vital signs, and obtain medical histories
  • Assist providers with OBGYN procedures and exams
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Accurately document within the EMR system
  • Perform clerical duties including reports and charting
  • Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance
  • Order and maintain medical supplies
  • Support physicians and clinical staff in daily operations
