Level II RT NDT Technician – Heath, OHFull-Time & Temporary Opportunities

We are currently seeking experienced Level II RT NDT Technicians for full-time and temporary/project-based opportunities in Heath, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have prior radiographic testing experience and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Position Summary

The Level II RT Technician will perform radiographic inspections in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, and customer specifications. Candidates must be capable of setting up RT equipment, interpreting results, and maintaining accurate inspection documentation in industrial and manufacturing environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standards
  • Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment
  • Interpret radiographic images and evaluate indications
  • Ensure inspection quality and compliance with applicable codes and specifications
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation
  • Follow all radiation safety procedures and company safety policies
  • Maintain RT equipment and inspection records
  • Work closely with supervisors, customers, and production teams
  • Support additional NDT methods as needed
  • Work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts based on project requirements
Qualifications
  • Current Level II RT certification required
  • Previous industrial radiography experience required
  • State card and/or IRRSP certification preferred where applicable
  • Strong understanding of radiographic testing techniques and safety standards
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environments
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, VT) are a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, aerospace, refinery, or industrial environments preferred
  • Experience with CR/DR systems is a plus
