Job description

DEKA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Test Technician to support Cleaning Durability Testing initiatives. This hands-on role involves executing and documenting repetitive cleaning cycles, monitoring device behavior, and identifying any irregularities during testing. These roles are temporary with a few openings having the option to be temporary to permanent. We have multiple openings on both 1st and 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform repetitive cleaning cycles in accordance with detailed instructions from a User Manual
  • Document progress and results in the Test Case Record using standard tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Surround)
  • Report and assist in the documentation of any unexpected device behaviors by generating observation tickets
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure test integrity and consistency
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or test technician environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions precisely
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
  • Proficiency with basic documentation tools and systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
