Job description

The Office Manager plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the company. This position serves as an organizational and leadership anchor within the office, working closely with drivers, dispatch, and management to ensure smooth candidate is detail-orientated, dependable, honors commitment, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-driven industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicates policy and procedure updates and provides guidance or training as needed.
  • Ensures clear, professional communication between drivers and dispatch, including documentation, status updates, and estimated arrival times.
  • Ensures invoices and paperwork are complete, accurate, and submitted on time for accounting.
  • Ensures safe operations by enforcing traffic laws, conducting daily pre-shift inspections, promoting safety standards, and maintaining tools and rigging in proper working condition
  • Holds drivers and staff accountable for performance, quality, timeliness, and adherence to company standards and core values; addresses issues promptly through coaching, training, or corrective action.
  • Manages employee performance through regular feedback, training, and progressive discipline to support development and retention.
  • Monitors customer and employee satisfaction and takes proactive steps to address service or morale concerns.
  • Oversees driver onboarding, ongoing training, and certification tracking to meet company, CHP, OSHA, and DOT requirements.
  • Plans staffing levels to meet service demands; assigns and adjusts work to support customer service goals, productivity, and labor cost control.
  • Reviews timekeeping, attendance, meal, and rest break compliance; audits records for accuracy and enforces state and federal labor laws.

We Require:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Required
  • 3 years of operational and supervisory leadership experience Preferred
  • Valid State Driver’s License Required
  • Literate in English
  • Mathematically Literate
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

 

Working Conditions:

In-person Temporary, 8-hour shifts, including weekends.

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000
