Manufacturing Technician
Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for safely blending chemical products to established quality control specifications while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This role supports production operations through material handling, inventory management, equipment operation, and adherence to all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely blend chemical products according to established formulas and quality specifications.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain an organized production and warehouse environment.
- Accurately identify, locate, and store materials in designated areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock or supply needs.
- Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance concerns, and safety issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities as assigned.
- Support warehouse, production, and facility maintenance activities as needed.
- Follow all housekeeping, cleanup, and safety procedures.
- Adhere to company policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to learn production processes and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to operate basic computer systems and equipment.
- Willingness and ability to become forklift certified.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or chemical blending experience.
- Forklift certification.
- Hazardous materials (HazMat) training or experience.
- Experience working in a production or industrial environment.

Physical Requirements
- Regularly stand for extended periods of time.
- Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Perform bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and other physical tasks as needed.
- Ability to work around moving machinery, chemicals, and production equipment.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment, airborne particles, and industrial conditions.
- Moderate noise levels.
- Occasional outdoor work may be required.
- Occasional weekend work may be required.
- Typical shifts range from 8 to 10 hours per day.
