To thrive as a Temp CDL Driver, you need a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), a clean driving record, and knowledge of transportation regulations. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, electronic logging devices (ELDs), and basic vehicle maintenance tools is typically required. These roles are typically offered on a short-term basis to cover seasonal demand, employee absences, or special projects. Drivers in these positions must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and may be required to handle tasks such as making deliveries, transporting goods, or driving passengers. Temp CDL drivers often work with staffing agencies and can gain experience with different employers, offering flexibility and variety in their work.
