Job description

*TEMPORARY POSITION*
PAY: $ 14.27- $ 17.29
EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED:

  • Handle cash, checks, credit cards and financing.
  • Count till (cash) bags at the beginning and end of each shift, verifying that all transactions were done correctly and till balances at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain the front office appearance by keeping everything neat and clean.
  • File the daily invoices.
  • Call the bank on all out of state checks and temporary checks to verify that the checks will clear.
  • Call the finance company to verify information on customers account (balance due, account balance, available credit).
  • Copy and match all finance approvals.
  • Process special orders and handwritten tickets.
  • Take account payments for fabric checkouts or other misc. payments.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by management.

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:
  • Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers,
  • Computer experience required; basic mathematical skills required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and positively with internal and external customers.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, typing hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
