Job description

Position Requested: Coordinator, Clubhouse Services - Carpenter Clubhouse
Job class: FT Salaried/Non-Exempt
Department: Player Development
Location: Carpenter Complex, Clearwater, FL
Reports to: Director, Minor League Training Facilities & Equipment

POSITION OVERVIEW

Provide support and assistance to the Director, Minor League Training Facilities & Equipment in all phases of clubhouse operations at Carpenter Complex for Minor League Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, July Mini-Camp, Florida Complex League, Performance Camps, and all non-baseball events, including but not limited to, clubhouse services, transportation, food and beverage, security, and building maintenance/field operations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Ensure daily maintenance, organization, and cleanliness of all facilities, including offices, locker rooms, weight room/batting cages, and kitchen.
  • Maintain restroom and shower facilities of entire complex.
  • Assist with player locker setup including uniform creation, proper gear and Phillies official on-field attire.
  • Maintain clubhouse supplies inventory and distribution (cleaning supplies, soap, shampoo, laundry supplies and any other supplies as necessary).
  • Coordinate cleaning team uniforms, personal laundry for on-field personnel, and towels daily.
  • Assist with equipment shipments to all minor league clubs and Latin America operations.
  • Manage the stock of toiletries in all clubhouses and shower areas.
  • Coordinate transportation including hotel shuttles, airport transportation for players and staff, and doctor transportation for players.
  • Prepare and set-up all daily training programs for on-field and batting cage programs.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Must possess exceptional time management skills
  • Must have ability to multi-task
  • Must be detail oriented and well organized
  • Must be able to interact professionally with players, coaches, front office personnel and medical and training staff
  • Must have ability to handle flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must possess strong work ethic
  • Must be a team player with strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Individual must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Individual must be able to handle frequent lifting of equipment and receivables.
