Assembly Line Associate – Immediate Openings
Location: Wyandotte, Michigan

Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Friday — $15.50/hr
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday–Friday — $15.50/hr
Night Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Sunday Night–Thursday Night — $16.50/hr
Wyandot is proud to partner with a premier manufacturing company in Wyandotte, Michigan that is actively hiring motivated and dependable candidates for Assembly Line Associate positions. Position Overview
Associates will work in a light industrial manufacturing environment performing assembly, inspection, measuring, and finishing duties on production lines. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow safety procedures, and flexibility to work overtime when needed.
Qualifications
Must possess a solid work history with jobs lasting 1+ years
Candidates with multiple short-term positions will not be considered
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
Ability to sit for extended periods while performing tasks
Functional English skills, both written and spoken
Basic math skills required
Experience using measurement tools such as rulers, gauges, and clippers preferred
Resume must include:
High school information
All shifts worked on previous jobs
1st and 2nd shift preference
Must have reliable attendance and transportation
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
Perform visual inspections of finished parts for defects
Complete minor finishing and basic assembly operations
Accurately record production data into electronic database systems
Use rulers, clippers, gauges, and similar tools during inspections and assembly
Read and follow standard operating and safety procedures
Troubleshoot and assist with resolving equipment issues
Support movement of materials from assembly lines to staging areas
Complete equipment changeovers while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards
Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness standards throughout the facility
Participate in safety and quality checks of assigned equipment
Wear and properly utilize all required PPE
May assist with training other employees on department operations
Schedule & Work Environment
Assigned to one 8-hour shift
Overtime may be required
PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection will be provided
Candidates must provide their own steel toe or composite toe boots/shoes
Required dress code:
Jeans or cargo pants only
No sweatpants or leggings
Assessment & Interview Process
All candidates must complete a mandatory online assessment before being considered for interviews.
Important Assessment Information
Assessment includes a math portion
Must be completed on a computer (phones are not accepted)
Each question is timed
Candidates should answer every question to the best of their ability
It is extremely important to finish the assessment
A score as low as 40% may still qualify candidates to move forward
Candidates are encouraged to complete at least 50 questions
Candidates with passing scores will be forwarded to the Hiring Manager for review and interview consideration. The hiring team moves quickly, so timely communication and interview attendance are very important.
