Job Title: Patient Service Associate - Team Lead
Department: Retail

Reports to: Dual Dispensary Manager, Director of Retail, Administrator Regional Retail Manager

General Summary:
The Patient Service Associate - Team Lead is responsible for assisting the Dual Dispensary Manager in supporting Temescal Wellness' retail locations in Keene and Lebanon, New Hampshire pursuant to and in compliance with state laws and regulations, including RSA 126-X and He-C 400. Temescal Wellness is a start-up, non-profit business operating in an ever-changing landscape, and as such, the following job description may not include all necessary tasks. All employees will be required to contribute, as needed, to ensure the success of each facility.
Responsibilities:
  • Serving qualifying patients and caregivers in obtaining their medicated products
  • Assisting with dispensary opening and closing duties and protecting dispensary assets by following Temescal Wellness operational policies and procedures
  • Setting security alarms at start and end of day to ensure safety of the property
  • Preparing deposits at the end of each day and cash reconciliation
  • Complying with program regulations as it relates to retail operations/dispensing including use of seed to sale software
  • Maintain well-stocked and well merchandised dispensary
  • Oversee product deliveries and supporting product ordering in collaboration with Dual Dispensary Manager
  • Support new hire and ongoing staff training in collaboration with the Dual Dispensary Manager
  • Serving as the main point of contact for the team on days the Dual Dispensary Manager is off-site
  • Spearheading customer service and navigating challenging situations with patients on days the Dual Dispensary Manager is off-site
  • Uphold all standards pertaining to dispensary cleanliness and Serv-Safe guidelines for infused product handling
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of temperature and humidity manipulation to ensure ideal storage of cannabis materials
  • Initiate seamless customer service by making every effort to find a product for patients if items are not in stock
  • Maintain store security including building security and cash handling and spearhead investigating inventory and cash discrepancies when Dual Dispensary Manager is offsite.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Assisting state and local government auditors and law enforcement with inventory, sales and compliance audits
  • Comply with all New Hampshire and Temescal specific policies and procedures and all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies, including HIPAA
  • Assisting with retail facility maintenance and cleaning and troubleshooting, as necessary
  • Assisting with any other tasks, responsibilities or special projects that are assigned by the Dual Dispensary Manager, Director of Retail, Regional Retail Manager, or Theory Leadership

Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Bending, squatting and stooping, twisting and bending the neck and waist and reaching above and below shoulder height to grasp objects
  • Bending and lifting loads of up to fifty pounds
  • Using hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to effectively interface with a large, diverse population of patients, customers, teammates, vendors, and regulators
  • Ability to thrive and effectively exhibit time management skills
