About the Role

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for helping people? We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Teller to join our retail banking team. In this role, you will be the face of our bank, delivering exceptional service while handling routine and intermediate financial transactions. You will play a vital role in building lasting customer relationships, ensuring operational accuracy, and helping our clients find the right financial solutions to meet their goals.

Requirements

 What You Will Do (Essential Functions)

  • Transaction Processing: Checking and savings deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and bonds.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain customer relationships through professional, positive, and attentive face-to-face interactions.
  • Cash Management: Maintain a balanced cash drawer in strict compliance with teller manual guidelines.
  • Business Development: Identify customer needs to refer to internal specialists for advanced banking products and services.
  • Systems Utilization: Execute batch transactions quickly and accurately using our Branch Capture System and Teller Insight platform.
  • Vault & Depository Care: Manage night depository operations, including secure bag logging, deposit verification, and issuing customer receipts.
  • Branch Administration: Support daily branch operations by answering phones, assisting clients with safe deposit boxes, sorting mail, and completing assigned tasks.

What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: 6 months of related customer service training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Core Skills: Proven, accurate cash-handling experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong computer literacy paired with robust mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
