WAVY-TV 10/WVBT FOX43 is searching for a dynamic SALES & MARKETING INTERN who wants to make a difference for clients trying to grow their business through advertising with a top local TV station, along with our website and social media platforms. The intern will assist the sales team in creation of sales one-sheets, assist in planning of special sales projects, perform ratings research, assist staff in prep for sales calls, and work with clients on social media strategy.

This is an UNPAID / FOR-CREDIT position for the Fall semester 2026 only.

We are looking for someone who has completed courses in a Sales or Marketing-related curriculum and has a working knowledge of sales principles. The intern could work on sales projects to include client research, sales presentations, data evaluation, marketing plan development, client relationship building and more. Please include relevant course work in your resume and application.

The successful candidate must have a willingness to learn the inner workings of a local newsroom and how all departments in a TV station work to support each other. Before beginning, the intern *must be* enrolled in a college degree granting program, and *will be required* to show proof of enrollment in an internship course within that program.

12-15 hours per week on site. Monday-Friday, flexible 4 hours per day, minimum 3 times per week; days and times will vary and be set in agreement with supervisor.
