Job description

Shady Grove Medical CenterIf you are a current Adventist HealthCare employee, please click this link to apply through your Workday account.Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Radiology Aide for our MRI Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Radiology Aide, you will:
Demonstrate actions and attitudes that support Adventist Healthcare's mission and RISES values
Maximize patient throughput and demonstrates teamwork with coworkers by managing large patient volume by transporting of patients to and/or from the modality as necessary.
Assist the modality in preparing the patient for the imaging exam and care of the patient. This includes Patient preparation and clean up, transferring the patient from mode of transportation to the imaging table and maintaining effective workflow
Properly identify patients to maximize quality, compassionate, safe patient care and processing of patient information in the modality and follows all patient safety procedures including handoffs
Accurately perform documentation in all computer systems pertinent to the modality (HIS, RIS, teletracking, PACS).
Assist in maintaining inventories.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include:
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of x-ray school, preferred
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Work Schedule:

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $22.79
