By giving doctors a holistic view of each member's complete health history, we ensure better care at a lower cost-delivering the highest value to those who need it most.
As a Telesales Vendor Manager / Senior Manager, you will oversee and optimize the Telesales function at Clover. You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial edge and a passion for selling, both in terms of the highest compliance standards as well as the ability to drive overall growth. You believe in using technology and data to drive your thinking around sales, productivity, and other key metrics.
As a Telesales Vendor Manager, you will:
  • Oversee Clover's Telesales program, which includes:
    • Being accountable for Clover's Telesales sales and retention goals
    • Managing our external Telesales partner and taking full ownership of their training and performance (including meeting Clover's conversion rate and CAC targets)
    • Managing staffing and headcount projections to ensure we are optimally staffed to hit projected sales targets, and compliance-based service requirements, and remain within budget
    • Leading and overseeing the development of reporting dashboards, and technology improvements within the CRM and telephony systems
    • Leading contract negotiations with any and all Telesales-related vendors
    • Performing silent monitoring of telesales reps, and generate report cards on a daily basis - with the goal of building a consistently high performing team
  • Ensure all telephony is configured properly and operational
  • Develop new processes as needed to effectively manage the inbound and outbound lead funnel, plus support Marketing and Sales to help grow our lead funnel by surfacing effective strategies for new lead gen activity
  • Serve as the main feedback loop for all telephonic activity that Clover has with each market, sculpting the most efficient and financially sound sales strategy that uniquely fits this particular channel as well as the markets you serve
  • Surface significant shifts or developments across the channel as well as key markets to sales team leadership, getting ahead of changes that may impact sales targets and performance

You should get in touch if:
  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience with Medicare Advantage or Health Insurance.
  • You have 3+ years of experience managing a telesales team / vendor.
  • You have a high level of relationship management experience.
  • You prefer using & believe in the value of technology to track your sales funnel and inform your sales approach over time.
