Job description

Job Description Summary

Performs food outlet counter service, cashier and host duties as required. May be responsible for food and beverage order taking, minimal food preparation and/or packaging, and delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • May perform food and beverage counter service including order taking, packing and food delivery.
  • Input and control ordering through register for each transaction, maintaining accountability for all food and drinks served.
  • Ensure bank is counted and balanced with cage.
  • Seat guests in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner while ensuring equal distribution of guests among servers.
  • Answer phones and directs calls appropriately.
  • Handle initial complaints and inform manager on duty.
  • Remain up-to-date on food and beverage offerings and hours of operation for all F&B outlets.
  • Provide excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
  • Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Previous cash handling and dining room host experience preferred
  • Attend and complete California Department of ABC Lead Training Program
  • Must be able to obtain aRiverside County Health Department card within one week of employment.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

To perform this job successfully, the individual must me able to stand, move and work throughout the property, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing for extended periods of time. Also will be subjected to a smoke filled environment.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
