Job description

Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative at FastSigns Surprise, you will be responsible for all sales activities within the shop and serve as the first point of contact for walk-in, email, and telephone customers. You will prepare estimates and work orders, following the process from start to finish, while providing exemplary customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES          

Greet walk-in customers and identifying customer needs and make recommendations

Estimating projects from business cards, decals and banners to large scale projects such as monument panels and illuminated building signs

Working with customers via email and phone for all stages of the projects

Partnering and coordinating resources and vendors that need to be outsourced

Answering phone calls

Following up on company lead emails

Process payments and invoices

Partnering with a team of Graphic Designers, Production Specialists, and Installers

Communicates with customers on order status and changes in the production schedule

Maintains an attractive retail environment (clean, organized, and functional)

Helps as needed with reports, close-out, invoices, and required paperwork

Identifies and resolves customer satisfaction issues

QUALIFICATIONS            

High School Diploma or GED required

Excellent customer service and people skills

2-3 years of retail experience, preferably in other sign or fabrication shops

Must have strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment

Experience working under pressure with multiple tasks/projects

Proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic math skills
