Job Summary/Description:  

Telemundo Nashville, operated within WSMV 4, is seeking a bilingual Multimedia Journalist who can connect with Middle Tennessee’s growing Spanish-language community and deliver impactful, platform-optimized content.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Develop, research, and pitch original enterprise stories that resonate with Spanish-speaking audiences in Middle Tennessee
- Shoot, write, edit, and present stories for Telemundo Nashville’s newscasts and digital platforms
- Deliver clear, confident, and engaging live reports in the field and in-studio
- Optimize content for WSMV and Telemundo platforms, including broadcast, streaming, website, app, and social media
- Build strong contacts within the Spanish-language community to enterprise meaningful local stories
- Participate in daily editorial meetings and contribute story ideas and angles

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a multimedia journalist or general assignment reporter
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
- Strong live reporting ability with solid news judgment
- Proven shooting and editing skills
- Understanding of digital and social media trends and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
