Now Hiring: Body Shop/ Diesel Mechanic
Location: 2343 South 5370 West, West Valley, UT 84120
Pay: $25 - $30 ($37.50 -$45 Overtime rate when available)
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm

Job Responsibilities: What you will do as a Body Shop Technician
Complete a quality preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on all company owned equipment, to include tractors, trailers, refrigerated units and support equipment.
  • Perform inspections to identify damaged or faulty Internal/external components to meet company, OEM and DOT specifications.
  • Repair or replace standard Internal/external body components including cab, body panels, glass, mirrors, restraints, safety devices, radio, upholstery, telematics and steering/suspension systems to maximize safety of equipment while in use on public roads.
  • Recognize and identify, non-body related repair or maintenance items (trailer, tires, etc).
  • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
  • Entry-level knowledge of vehicle systems and basic vehicle maintenance preferred.
  • High School or combination of training and/or experience required.
  • Drivers license required.
  • Demonstrated/proven superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and understand repair manuals, understanding and ability to complete/fill tags and repair orders.
  • Ability to use and learn various diagnostic software used on tractor/trailers.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills.
