This role is primarily remote, allowing you to provide services from a comfortable and safe environment while connecting with clients via telehealth platforms. You will maintain a balanced work schedule of Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor at Nurtune Psychological Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of each client and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Implementing effective therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), among other modalities, to promote healing and growth.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential clinical records that comply with HIPAA regulations and best practices in documentation.
• Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for each client.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance your professional development and the care provided to clients.
• Educating and guiding clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources to facilitate their support network.
• Staying informed about current research and developments in the mental health field to continuously improve your practice.

You will work with a varied client population, including adults and adolescents facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety disorders, and depression. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in establishing trust and rapport, allowing clients to engage fully in their treatment and achieve meaningful progress.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active and valid license to practice in Oregon as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• A strong understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to address the diverse needs of clients with compassion and efficacy.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients and facilitate open conversations about mental health.
• Proven problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities to tailor therapeutic approaches uniquely suited to each individual.
• The capacity to thrive in a collaborative environment, valuing teamwork and supporting colleagues in providing comprehensive care.

Candidates with experience in teletherapy and familiarity with mental health documentation software are highly preferred. Experience in using evidence-based approaches with diverse populations will further strengthen your application.
